Bee Knight (pronouns: they/them) is a Black/biracial arts administrator with 10 years of experience working in communications and programs for large to small scale nonprofit organizations and individual artists.

Their passions lie in connecting and engaging people online and in-person and telling stories through content sharing and creation. Coming to the Leeway Foundation from the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation Bee, has previously worked at a range of Philadelphia nonprofits including Indego Bikeshare, and the Greater Philadelphia Cultural Alliance. 

Bee's background of storytelling began in the theatre on and off stage. They hold a B.A, in Theatre and Communication Arts from Gannon University Erie, PA and a M.S. in Arts Administration from Drexel University.
