Julia Terry is a visual artist, facilitator, and mother living in West Philadelphia. Her work is inspired by womxnhood, sisterhood, motherhood, and the personal and collective struggle to free ourselves and each other from oppressive structures, behaviors, and systems. She explores universal and sacred points of connection, and the power and pain of embracing new ways of being through collage, mixed media, and cut paper.

In collaboration with Educators for Consent Culture (ECC) and other partners, Julia will facilitate a series of virtual and in-person workshops exploring consent, boundaries, and what authentic yeses and nos feel like in our bodies through writing and art. In cooperation with participants, Julia will create a series of cut paper pieces to amplify the words and feelings they share and to inspire others to define and assert their own boundaries.
