Santa Fe Art Institute Announces its Equal Justice Residents

Michelle Angela Ortiz is a 2017-2018 Equal Justice Resident at the Santa Fe Art Institute (SFAI).
From September 2017 through August 2018, SFAI will bring together over 80 artists, creative practitioners, and content experts from all over the world to Santa Fe to investigate the 2017-18 SFAI theme, Equal Justice.
They come from 21 countries, 21 U.S. States, and encompass 50+ disciplines. They will explore how art can be used to engage systems of power and transform systems of structural oppression. This melding of artistic practice, expertise, and activism builds community, critical dialogue, and radical imagination.
