Maria Maneos' Brush with the Law project presents "The Art of Recovery"
Maneos' (ACG '14) "The Art of Recovery" features artwork on display that represents Brush with the Law's past work and ongoing projects inside and outside prison walls.
-4642 Chandelier Installation to brig awareness of the heroin/opiod epidemic. 4,642 lives lost in PA alone in 2016 from heroin/opiates
-The Baggie Project - responses from those in recovery and family and friends of those suffering.
-Over 50 different paintings and drawings on display from inmates, ex offenders, and those in recovery.
At their core, these works give a sense of individuals in various stages of recovery from the cycle of addiction and incarceration.
