Guests Vinod Thomas and Franco Montalto, Ph.D., talked about climate change strategies: What are the perspectives of people with both international and national contacts regarding environmental issues? Listen to these guests to find out:

• Vinod Thomas, is former senior vice president at the World Bank, one of whose responsibilities is financing to help with climate issues, and author of Climate Change and Natural Disaster (2018).He will talk about the present climate change crisis and solutions that we may be able to take to avert it.

• Franco Montalto, Ph.D., is an associate professor in Drexel’s Department of Civil, Architectural, and Environmental Engineering. He has recently returned from the world climate change conference in Poland, COP24, and has contacts about environmental issues in other countries. He will discuss “integration” and systems issues in relationship to the environment, as well as some of his own work on urban environmental problems.
