Jennie Shanker and Michelle Angela Ortiz Selected for Mural Arts Open Source Program

Jennie Shanker (ACG '12, WOO '99) and Michelle Angela Ortiz (ACG '13, ACG '12, LTA '08, ACG '05) have been selected for City of Philadelphia Mural Arts' Open Source: Engaging Audiences in Public Space. Jennie and Michelle will create murals connecting art and social issues. All work will be completed by Winter 2015. Fourteen artists in total have been selected including Philadelphia locals Ernel Martinez and Keir Johnston, as well as Sam Durant, Shepard Fairey and SWOON.
