Dinita Clark (LTA '17) Named a Pew Center for the Arts & Heritage 2019 Grantee

Dinita Clark (LTA '17) was named a Pew Center for the Arts & Heritage 2019 Grantee with a focus on Dance & Movement. Through her work as a choreographer, performer, and teacher, Clark engages the vocabularies of hip-hop culture and street dance and centers women within the dance form.

“Our annual grants foster the highest levels of artistic and programmatic excellence,” said Paula Marincola, the Center’s executive director. “The ambitious work these artists and institutions will produce in the coming months will inspire audiences and further elevate Philadelphia’s visibility as a thriving hub for culture.”
