CFEVA Announces 2017 Visual Artist Fellows

The Center for Emerging Visual Artists (CFEVA) announces its 2017 Visual Artist Fellows, among them Black Quantum Futurism (Rasheedah Phillips and Camae Ayewa [LTA '15, ACG '07]) and Syd Carpenter (ACG '12, LAA '99)

A two-year hatchery of innovation, the Visual Artist Fellowship underscores CFEVA's commitment to fostering artistic excellence and furthers its mission to help visual artists build sustainable careers. Artists are selected by an independent Board of Artistic Advisors based on the merit of their artwork, demonstrated ability to reach stated goals, and a clear vision for the next level in their professional practice.
