Thomasin Parnes

Thomasin will create a series of four interactive mixed media art/design pieces that will function as teaching tools for adult sex education, focusing on the inclusion and normalization of marginalized bodies, genders, and sexual practices. The pieces will be hand-drawn, hand-crafted, and designed with the goal of educating people to become more empowered decision-makers and self-advocates around sex, relationships, and sexual health. The work will reach an audience through a one-night art event and subsequent series of workshops facilitated by ScrewSmart—a Philadelphia based feminist, queer/trans-positive, sex-positive, sex education collaborative.
