Shawn Hunter

Shawn will create a documentary about the ballroom scene in Philly’s GLBT community; giving familiar and unfamiliar viewers alike an up close and personal look into the preparation, execution, and aftermath of six balls in Philadelphia and surrounding areas. Interviews with house members, judges, spectators, ball veterans, as well as his own personal experience as a new member of the scene, will allow Shawn to explore some of the reasons why so many ball participants have been excluded from the main-stream modeling and fashion industries.
