Working directly with female clients at Prevention Point Philadelphia, Rachel and Katherine will implement a multi-disciplinary arts program.  Through a series of weekly workshops, they will work with the women to create a woven piece that will transform the waiting area at the clinic and as well as support the women as they design individual safety pouches to carry supplies that make them feel safe and powerful, such as condoms, clean needles, bible verses, and photographs.  Through open discussion Rachel and Katherine hope to foster increased feelings of positivity, creativity, community, and gratitude amongst the participants.  The program will help the clients learn new skills, form a supportive community, and have the opportunity for creative self expression and self empowerment.
