Kimberly E. Rollins

Kimberly will offer African hair care workshops to assist foster, adoptive, biological and trans-race families. Her classes will demonstrate how important cultural awareness and self-esteem is within inter-cultural families using the techniques of hands-on approach through personal group sessions or DVD. Families, including parents and children, will participate in learning product knowledge, styling techniques and understanding how to maintain their hair in its truest form, free of chemicals. From simply combing and brushing hair to understanding simple day-to-day hair care and styling tips, the demonstration will work to build self-esteem and cultural awareness.
