Kara Crombie

Kara will organize and instruct a songwriting and music production workshop for adolescent and teenage girls at The Advocate Center for Culture and Education (the Advocate). The workshop will introduce students to powerful feminist role models in music history, educate them in song writing and music production techniques, and provide a safe environment for young girls to develop lyrical content. The girls will then learn recording techniques and record their performances, which will be performed in a culminating open mic night at the Advocate.
