Jennifer Yee
Jennifer Yee is a seasoned filmmaker who first began as an intern for Mister Rogers' Neighborhood in Pennsylvania before working in development for Warner Bros. Studios in California. Her work over a decade has aired globally on NBC, CBS, ESPN, the NFL Network, PBS, and Showtime. In 2010, she wrote and directed the feature-length documentary, 10 Mountains 10 Years, narrated by Anne Hathaway with music contribution by Bruce Springsteen, which garnered 28 international awards and raised over $100,000 for Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s Disease medical research.

Overview
Jennifer will compose a feature-length screenplay about caregivers for loved ones battling Alzheimer’s Disease. Revolving around the story of a musician who loses his ability to complete daily tasks while still retaining his ability to play music, the film will resist assumptions and stereotypes made about individuals with disabilities. Jennifer’s intent is to build a sense of community for caregivers in America as well as raise awareness, tolerance, and understanding for those living with disabilities and chronic illnesses.
