Feini Yin
Feini Yin is a community storyteller, organizer, and fishmonger working at the intersection of food, environment, science, and social justice. Feini is making a multimedia storytelling project called "Our Fishing Log," in partnership with Philly podcast studio Rowhome Productions and food photographer Neal Santos. Our Fishing Log is about Philly's local fish, people who love fish, and the ways fish connect us to the world, each other, and ourselves.

Overview
Feini Yin’s project, Our Fishing Log, is a Philadelphia storytelling project about local fish, people who love fish, and the ways fish connect us to the world, each other, and ourselves. The project will include a six-episode podcast, youth workshops, and a community event. Each episode follows a different species of fish found in waters local to the Philadelphia region, from catching the fish to co-creating a meaningful meal with a local cook, exploring facets of science, history, community, and culture in between.
