Erika plans to create a multimedia documentary about the devastating effects of the spread of soy plantations in Paraguay. She will travel to a number of communities in Paraguay to record audio interviews, photograph the living conditions, and blog about her experiences. Upon her return, she will produce a multimedia exhibit about displacement, poverty, globalization and immigration. In order to create a dialogue about poverty and build solidarity, Erika will showcase the exhibit in Paraguayan communities in New York and Philadelphia.
