Dina Khouri

Dina created a childrens book in English and Arabic entitled: How Old Is Basma's Jiddo? The book is written from the perspective of Basma who wants to find out just how old her grandfather is. Using the game of Backgammon, Basma's grandfather teaches her how to count and introduces her to an ancient game that culturally is only played by men. This book hopes to present a positive example of a Arab grandfather fostering the intellectual curiosity of his granddaughter.
