Overview
Davy and Levi will produce a chapbook series of writing by transgender and gender non-conforming youth who are part of the transcribez writing group, a monthly workshop for trans/GNC youth ages 14-24 at the Kelly Writers House. Davy and Levi will work directly with each individual participant to edit a larger body of their own work and collaborate with them on the design. Each student will be given 50 copies of their chapbook, and a copy of each book will be available at the Attic, William Way Center, the LGBT Center at Penn, and Wooden Shoe Bookstore. Davy and Levi will also organize a chapbook release reading and final event for the 2017-2018 workshop year.
