Chantelle will work with the women of the media literacy project FAAN Mail (Fostering Activism & Alternatives Now) to facilitate an artistic process that will allow them to share their art with the public.  FAAN members will serve as the participants and will be instructed in a photo-voice process. They will take photographs that reflect their experiences with street harassment and other forms of violence and offer a vision for a world in which they feel safe.  Participants will then come together in workshops to discuss their photos to gather themes to identify this new learning into a direct action campaign aimed at building media that reflects a more diverse, fair and fully human representation of the participants.  Finally, the participants will share their photo-voice project and launch the campaign at a public talk back.
