Bethlehem The Vocussionist will record The Return to Innocence, a solo EP of original songs inspired by childhood singing games, rooted in the art form of vocussion. Vocussion is an infusion of both vocal performance and body percussion on a percussive wooden box. The debut of the EP will be in the form of a listening party for seniors, 65 and older, at The Terrace at Chestnut Hill Living Facility. During the event, she will share her renditions of singing games through live performance where the elders will be invited to engage in familiar childhood singing games, as a way to promote emotional health, independence, and social connection.
