Window of Opportunity Grant (WOO)
Overview
Alina Pleskova (ACG ’20; WOO ‘22) has been invited to participate as a vendor in the Association of Writers & Writing Programs (AWP)’s annual community book fair, on behalf of bedfellows magazine. Hosted this year in Philadelphia, the AWP Conference & Bookfair is the largest networking, sharing, and collaboration opportunity for writers, teachers, students, editors, and publishers of literary arts. This grant will support Alina in showcasing copies of the forthcoming bedfellows publication at the bookfair and planning an off-site event, with paid contributors, during the conference weekend to allow more people to directly connect with the publication and the dozens of local writers featured within it.
