ZA'FARAAN! Online Zine For Queer Middle Easterners Seeks Submissions

Are you queer or trans and from the Middle East? ZA'FARAAN!, an online zine by and for queers of the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), is looking for submissions! If you are queer / trans / gender non-conforming, identify as a Middle Easterner, and fluently speak as least one of the languages of the MENA region, you are invited to send your original writing (in one or more languages of the MENA region) along with an English translation. Stories, poems, passages, interviews, and recipes less than 1,000 words, and art in publishable formats (drawings, pictures, video) will be accepted. Submit via email, along with a very short bio, to ZA3CME@gmail.com by May 15, 2017. Anonymous publishing is available upon request.
