Producers' Forum - Spirits of Rebellion: Black Cinema at UCLA directed by Zeinabu Irene Davis

Scribe Video Center is hosting a screening of Spirits of Rebellion: Black Cinema at UCLA at International House Philadelphia (3701 Chestnut Street) on Tuesday, September 15 from 7:00pm to 9:00pm. Director Zeinabu Irene Davis will be present. Spirits of Rebellion is a window into the lives of UCLA-trained filmmakers in the L.A. Rebellion movement, including Charles Burnett, Julie Dash, Haile Gerima, Barbara McCullough, Billy Woodberry and Davis herself. The film explores what makes a Black film. Tickets are $10 for general audiences, $7 for students and seniors and $5 for Scribe and IHP members. Tickets can be purchased here.
