AAI is thrilled to host Mary H.K. Choi for an artist talk! Choi is an author, reporter, and essayist known best for her New York Times best selling novel Emergency Contact (2018), and her newest release, Permanent Record (2019). Her work meditates on the intricate relationship between social media and romance. Born in South Korea, raised in Texas, and settled in L.A., Choi weaves Korean American experiences into her work.
