Laundromat Project's Create Change Applications Due January 27

What does "sanctuary" mean to you? Apply now for fellowship, residency, or commission opportunities with Create Change 2017.

Application Deadline is January 27, 2017, 11:59 EST, and program dates will be April–November, 2017.

Be a part of The Laundromat Project's flagship program, Create Change, which connects communities and artists in meaningful ways through artmaking and community building projects. We envision building a corps of artists inspired and equipped to work alongside everyday folks in creative endeavors right where they live.

The program recognizes that artists and the roles they play within their own communities ultimately improve the holistic quality of life in New York City’s diverse communities, particularly those of color and modest income. Over the long-term, we intend to foster and support creative community leaders who are empowered by, committed to, and fully conversant in community-attuned art practices.
