Kun-Yang Lin/Dancers Unveils U.S. Premier at Mandell Theater

The critically-acclaimed Kun-Yang Lin/Dancers (KYL/D) showcases the range of Lin’s choreographic mastery in a timely program, MOVING REFLECTIONS ON THE ENVIRONMENT AND HUMANKIND, performed by "superbly trained dancers" (Philadelphia Inquirer). April 17th at 8:00 PM and April 18th at 2:30 PM, 8:00 PM. Tickets $25.
The performance features the U.S. premiere of FISH AND GIRL, an exploration of contemporary dance in response to an unfinished poem by renowned Singaporean poet, Pan Cheng Lui. It is the first work that Kun-Yang Lin is creating in collaboration with Chinese poetry.
The program also will include: the acclaimed EMPTINESS OF SNOW, a global warming-inspired exploration of forces that are seen and unseen; and the company’s signature piece, SANTUARIO -- a moving response to the tragic shootings at Pulse Nightclub in Orlando.
