Information Session: Taino Music & Arts Program

The Philly Taino Cultural Workshop hosts an Information Session on Saturday, July 29 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at César Andreu Iglesias Community Garden (1968 N Lawrence St, Philadelphia, PA 19122) for their Music and Arts program for youth, ages 10-15 (and youth up to 18 years old if there is room).

They will present a brief history on the Taino People, who are one of the Indigenous Peoples of the Caribbean, followed by information about the bi-weekly program (held on every other Saturday until October). They will then end the session with a traditional Taino music demostration and light refreshments.
