Holding our Community: Leeway during COVID-19

To the Leeway Community,
 
Due to overwhelming public health and safety concerns about COVID-19 and centering the safety of the Leeway staff and you, our community, we have decided to cancel or postpone a number of upcoming Leeway programs and events. Along with event cancellations, effective March 16 the Leeway team will be working remotely through March 27. We will be monitoring the situation and keep you informed of any changes/updates.
 
Below is a list of events that have been cancelled or postponed and information about how to reach Leeway staff during this time:
 
CANCELLED // CANCELADO

  • Wednesday, March 18: Information Session at Tacony Community ARTS LAB
  • Tuesday, April 7: Information Session (Bilingual) at CCATE
  • Martes 7, de abril: SESIONES INFORMATIVAS SOBRE LA BECA:centro de cultura arte trabajo y educacion

 
POSTPONED

  • Tuesday, March 26: Tiresian Life: Imagining Gender Expansive Garments with Eppchez!
  • Friday, April 10: Community Conversation + Reception with Ada Trillo

 
LEEWAY REMOTE

  • While the Leeway staff is working remotely, we will be unavailable for any in person meetings or activities.
  • Staff will be equipped to connect with folks via e-mail, through online portals, on Leeway social media platforms, and over the phone.
  • Staff will be monitoring Leeway voicemail and return calls.

Upcoming Grant Deadlines
Because of these cancellations, we are developing plans for providing application support via social media, e-mail, and/or over the phone. Be on the lookout for information about how to get your questions answered or receive support before any upcoming deadline.

If your project timeline is impacted by COVID-19, please contact Program Director Melissa Hamilton mhamilton@leeway.org or x11 for a project extension.
