Finances for Artists: Basics and Beyond

FINANCES FOR ARTISTS:
BASICS AND BEYOND

free workshop from Artists U/Philadelphia
Saturday, April 29, 2017, 10:00 am - 5:00 pm
Leeway Foundation

Don't starve, make art.

This workshop will offer practical tools and approaches for managing our finances. We will answer questions, share resources, and look at Valuing Your Time, Revenue Streams, Self-employment, Taxes, Debt Reduction, Expense Tracking, Project Budgeting, Fundraising, and Grant Writing. We don't want to put money in the center of our work; we want to take it out of the center by managing it.

Co-led by choreographer and activist Amy Smith, a national leader in financial thinking for artists, Finances For Artists is an opportunity to change your thinking and your financial trajectory.

How much does it cost? It's free, but enrollment is limited.
Do I have to attend the entire time? Yes.
Will there be food? Of course. Lunch, snacks, and beverages.
