She has taught at every level from preschool to institutions of higher education. Elaine’s life story is an example of a ‘Never give up!!!’ attitude. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Drexel University and her Master’s studies at Temple University. After retiring, Elaine began to write. Price Road is her first novel, which can be found at libraries throughout Philadelphia and at Amazon. Elaine conducts writing workshops and speaks at different events, colleges, and book clubs. She enjoys speaking to people who are passionate about literature. The family bonding – shown within her novels reveals the importance of intergenerational conversation, pride, and support. One take-a-way from any of her books would be to: “Respect and honor the past, appreciate and value the present, prepare for and advance into the future,” solidifying the importance of friendships throughout a lifetime.
