Bread & Roses Present the Second Annual Change Ride

Join Bread & Roses for the second annual Change Ride on Saturday, September 16, 2017!

Riders will enjoy a 10-mile ride across Philadelphia, visiting four Bread & Roses grantees: New Sanctuary Movement, Put People First! PA, Reentry Think Tank, and Youth United for Change. Organizers from these groups will share stories about their campaigns in South Philly, Center City, and North Philly and tell us why those neighborhoods are important to them and the movements they lead.

The Change Ride raises money to support Bread & Roses’ grantmaking and technical assistance to community organizers fighting for racial equity and economic opportunity for all.

Saturday, September 16 (rain date: Sunday, September 17) | 8:30 AM - 1:00 PM
Location: Starting in South Philly, ending at the Village of Arts and Humanities in Germantown

You can register as an individual, join an existing team, or create your own team. Together we can raise the money Bread & Roses needs to support grassroots groups coming together to make real change in our city.

Sign up by August 20 and you’ll receive a limited-edition Change Ride T-shirt!

You don’t need to own a bike to ride! Indego, Philadelphia’s bike share program, is offering a discount code for Change Ride participants!

Don’t bike? You can still support Jill and Jeni and all the teams with a donation! Learn more.
