Bread and Roses Accepting Applications for Immigration Justice Fund

In the Philadelphia region, people from immigrant and refugee communities are mobilizing to address issues that directly affect them, including detention and deportation, exploitation of undocumented and migrant workers, lack of protection for undocumented survivors of interpersonal violence, access to quality healthcare and education, racial profiling of immigrant people of color, and more.

The Immigration Justice Fund will make grants to groups across the Philadelphia region that are organizing within immigrant and refugee communities to build power and make change.

The Immigration Justice Fund will make grants to groups within which:

  • At least 50% of the leaders identify as immigrants or refugees
  • Leadership is being developed from within immigrant or refugee communities
  • Community organizing is being used as a strategy to addresses the concerns of immigrants or refugees in our region

The Immigration Justice Fund will make grants to both established organizations and organizations that are new, emerging, or new to Bread & Roses.

Deadline for applications is 5:00pm on Friday, October 12.

For more information and directions to apply, visit the Bread and Roses Community Fund website.
