From September 18, 19, and 20th, Scribe Video Center will hold a three-day Body of Work retrospective showcasing the prolific filmography of Tina Morton. Morton is a media activist, documentarian, and an Associate Professor at Howard University. She is a recipient of a Pew Fellowship (2010), a Leeway Transformation Award (2006) and two Art and Change Grants (2005, 2006). Join us for three programs of Morton's early and recent works: "Philadelphia History," "Precious Places Salutes Tina Morton," and "Tragedy, Journey, and Healing."
