BlackStar Film Festival Seeks Volunteers

The BlackStar Film Festival is run by a an all-volunteer producing committee who work year-round on the planning, organizing, curating, promoting, and fundraising aspects of the the festival. To make the festival itself happen they also seek out committed Festival Volunteers who wish to join them by giving of their time and contagious enthusiasm to run the four-day event in late summer. Volunteering with BlackStar is a unique opportunity to work hard, gain valuable event management experience, earn community service hours, network and/or have fun while supporting the mission of a pioneering organization dedicated to championing the work of aspiring and established independent filmmakers of African descent.
