2019 Black Spatial Relics: Convening

Arielle Julia Brown (ACG '18) founder and director of Black Spatial Relics is presenting the 2019 Black Spatial Relics Convening from November 14 -17, a series of gatherings working at the intersections of slavery, justice and freedom. Featuring performances, workshops, and artist talks, this convening invites participants to consider how performance and embodied practices intervene in our knowing, learning and witnessing histories of slavery while dreaming, forecasting and rooting in black practices of freedom.
