Amanda Johnson

Amanda will create a narrative film titled Sister’s Healing Circle about the HIV epidemic and its effects on black women. The film will address the fear and social stigma attached to the virus and explore holistic wellness alternatives. As a black woman, Amanda’s goals are to encourage her peers to take charge of their health, and through the film she hopes to promote self-awareness, self-empowerment, and self-healing.
