Shifting Seasons: A Fall Writing Workshop @ CultureWorks

Humans change, grow, and evolve just as the seasons do. In this two hour workshop, we will use creative writing to reflect on change and set intentions for the coming months. Cost: $40.00
Session includes:
- A supportive writing community
- Guided writing activities for self-exploration
- Ways to use writing as a tool for growth and discovery -Writing prompts to take home
- Snacks!
Yhis workshop centers writing for healing and growth.

About the Facilitator:
Briyana D. Clarel is a Black queer writer, performer, and educator passionate about musical theatre, mangoes, and memoirs. They are the founder of The Starfruit Project, an initiative supporting radical healing and brilliant growth through creativity. They are currently the Creative Nonfiction Editor for Homology Lit, a member of the sketch comedy teams The Rhubarbs and Mural Outrage, and a member of Ring of Keys. Briyana’s writing is published in TAYO Literary Magazine, cavity, Black Youth Project, MELANINzine, and in several print anthologies. Born and raised in South Jersey, they holds a BA in Sociology from Princeton University. They love blueberry pancakes, colorful combat boots, and dancing even when people want them to be still.
