Ragdale 2020 Residency Opportunities

Ragdale is a nonprofit artists’ community located on the former country estate of architect Howard Van Doren Shaw. 200 residencies and fellowships are now offered annually to creative professionals of all types, making Ragdale one of the largest interdisciplinary artists’ communities in the country. Ragdale residents represent a cross-section of ages, cultures, experience, and mediums, for a diverse and vibrant community. In each session, artists-in-residence enjoy uninterrupted time for work, a supportive environment, dynamic artist exchanges, 50 acres of idyllic prairie, and a family-style dinner each evening. Deadline: May 15 11:59 PM CST

Solo / Small Group Residencies: Creative professionals of all types are eligible for 18- and 25-day residencies. Applications are juried annually by the Ragdale Curatorial Board.

Themed Rsidencies: Creative professionals of all types working collaboratively are eligible for 5-7 day residencies for groups of 5-13 artists. Applications are juried annually by the Ragdale Curatorial Board.
