Land Reclamation Skill Share

The event is Saturday April 13 from 10:00am - 4:00 pm at 1801 Diamond Street in North Philadelphia. The day will be a mixture of story sharing and concrete information about how Black and Brown communities can reclaim, preserve, and collectivize land. There are lawyers, conservationists and community organizers presenting.
The skill share will be especially helpful for people who are:
-looking for ways to preserve/ defend/ support their neighborhood against gentrification
-farming/growing food in Philly
-interested in being part of a community land trust (e.g housing, gardens, open space)
-interested in using easements to protect their ancestral land
The Philadelphia Area Cooperative Alliance's (PACA) mission is to improve the lives of people in the Philadelphia region by supporting democratically organized businesses, promoting the principles of the international cooperative movement, and growing the cooperative economy.
