5,000 Women Festival in Philadelphia

Held in honor of Women’s History Month, the 5,000 Women Festival brings together female artists from a diverse array of disciplines, backgrounds, and ages for a not-to-be-missed evening of entertainment. Saturday, March 29th at the Philadelphia Ethical Society (1906 Rittenhouse Square). Tickets are $20 and can be purchased here. Hosted by and featuring Philadelphia’s Jennifer Blaine, “whose comic genius is like Lily Tomlin and Tracey Ullman” (Philadelphia Daily News), the evening will also include:
- Naomi Ekperigin (FX’s “Totally Biased with W. Kamau Bell”)
- Sharon Geller (“Saturday Night Live”)
- Karen Getz and Kelly Jennings (Comedy Sportz, Time-Traveling Victorian Anthropologists — Gwen and Cec)
- Susan Windle (acclaimed Philadelphia poet, Through The Gates)
- Jaquetta Colson (dancer and educator, Living Arts Dance)
- Joy Mariama Smith (cutting edge performance artist, Collage festival)
- Susan Perti Dunn (singer-songwriter, pianist)
